Earlier this week, Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto sent a letter to Congressional leaders urging them to appropriate more arts funding in their next COVID19 relief bill (story linked below). Firstly, thank you Mr. Mayor for doing so--we need as many civic leaders as possible from all corners of PA speaking out! Secondly, this money will not do any good at present because PA Council on the Arts grant disbursement is still frozen and the federal money from the first round of federal relief, distributed by the NEA through the PCA, is still sitting there.

Please continue to urge the Governor, your Representative, and your Senator to let the PCA resume their grant disbursal to the organizations which were promised them! And please continue to share the petition!
