Greetings and thank you for pushing the petition past 500 signatures!

I wanted to issue a new challenge to you all. Pennsylvania has 67 counties. The PA Council on the Arts disburses grants to organizations in every single one of them! These grants truly have the widest possible impact. We now have signatories hailing from 31 counties in the Commonwealth (list included below). This is fantastic! Please help amplify this petition so that we may reach people in counties and regions not yet represented.

Want to know how this money is distributed proportionally? It stands to reason that PCA disburses the most amount of money to Philadelphia County, which is where the majority of our signatories reside. Number two is, you guessed it, Allegheny county. Number three is Erie; number four is Berks; following closely behind are Lehigh, Lancaster, and Northampton. (All stats are based on the 2018-19 year.
