Petition updateGovernor Ron DeSantis- Please Reassign The Illegal Slaughter Farms Case To Another CountyRabbits and Other Animals Brutally Tortured and Killed While Lee County Government Turn Their Heads

Linda SueFL, United States

May 15, 2018
Courteously of Roman Hernandez - Rancho Las Delicias - Lee County, Florida.
(Graphic Description - Video Not Graphic, Rabbit Is Scruffed and Kicking)
This helpless rabbit was violently grabbed from a cage, scruffed while taken to a kill room, then grabbed by the head and brutally struck with the butt of a knife several times. While still alive the neck was slashed about 5 times before throwing the rabbit on the floor to die and be butchered. Small animals were also seen used as live bait for aggression dog training.
Due to lack of Law Enforcement in Lee Co., no animal is safe from the neglect, horrific torture, abuse and killing on the 4 Illegal Horse/ Slaughter Farms. Animals suffering some of the worse inhumane and barbaric cruelty seen by ARM Investigations. Crimes against society.
WHAT IS GOING ON IN LEE COUNTY GOVERNMENT AND WHY ARE DANGEROUS CRIMINALS ALLOWED TO THRIVE WITHOUT CONSENQUENCE?
State Attorney's office and Sgt. Randy Hodges/ Agricultural Crimes Unit appear lay blame on Animal Recovery Mission for their own failed 2 1/2 year investigation while dismissing evidence that could have shut these farms down. Assistant State Attorney Amira Fox blatantly lied to the public on a Youtube Video Statement claiming the farms were shut down, when in fact, they were and are still operating as evidenced on media video. Unethical, unacceptable and Wrong.
Code (Compliance & Enforcement), has not addressed complaints since 2004 as unacceptably seen on their website.
The Governor may reassign the case from the local State Attorney to another State Attorney in Florida to pursue charges however, he has Not Responded to complaints.
The Only Reason there is less activity currently seen on these farms is because of ARM and the citizens protesting on the public streets in front of the farms, but make no mistake, there is still activity. Farms that are not licensed or inspected to even sell meat.
