On 1/12/17, a video surfaced of a very scared looking Pitbull riding ON TOP of a cage in a trailer being pulled by an SUV as it was flying down I95 in Flagler County Florida. This is not the first time I saw a scared dog riding in the back of a truck as it was driving down a highway in Florida.

According to Florida law, it is legal to allow dogs to ride in the back of a truck as long as it has 2 tethers. This is incomprehensible to me. What happens if there is an accident? What happens if the dog falls and gets strangled? How can people be so careless with the lives of animals?

Please change this law to make this illegal, especially on high speed roads.
