While FL has enacted laws to "protect victims of paternity fraud" they courts have yet to make it easy for men who wish to prove their innocence. There is so much red tape around the paternity fraud laws in this country that women are still getting away with "child abuse" and "financially raping" men.

How paternity fraud can affect a child:
Children are unaware of their heritage, they have a false identity, medical problems could arise which require the biological fathers family to be a donor (a woman who has lied about paternity has ultimatly sentenced her child to death in this case because she refuses to tell the truth in the matter of paternity), children can be forced into incestual relationships because they DO NOT KNOW THEY ARE RELATED!! Children are entitled to the mental, physical, emotional, and monitary support of both of thier parents, whos to say that the true biological father in cases of paternity fraud couldnt offer a better life for the child than the man "assumed" to be the father.
DEFINITION OF CHILD ABUSE: Child Abuse has been defined as an act, or failure to act, on the part of a parent or caretaker that results in the death, serious physical or emotional harm, Sexual Abuse, or exploitation of a child, or which places the child in an imminent risk of serious harm
WAYS PATERNITY FRAUD IS CONSIDERED CHILD ABUSE;
Definition of exploitation: Utilization of another person or group for selfish purposes
HOW DOES PATERNITY FRAUD EXPLOIT A CHILD? Simple the child is being used to commit FRAUD in order for a woman to collect a free "paycheck" in the form of child support.
HOW IS PATERNITY FRAUD EMOTIONAL ABUSE? The child is being FORCED to believe they are someone they are not causing lifelong questions and struggles once the truth about paternity is found out.

BY SIGNING THIS PETITION YOU ARE ASKING GOVERNOR RISK SCOTT TO TAKE AN EVEN MORE EXTREME STAND AGAINST PATERNITY FRAUD AND THE CHILD ABUSE CAUSED BY PATERNITY FRAUD BY FORCING THE FLORIDA COURTS TO APPROVE ALL MOTIONS FOR DNA TESTING SUBMITTED BY MEN WHO QUESTION THE TRUE PATERNITY OF CHILDREN THEY ARE PAYING SUPPORT FOR.

THIS PETITION ASKS GOVERNOR RICK SCOTT OF FLORIDA TO MAKE A CHANGE IN HIS STATE REGARDING THE FOLLOWING:

ALLOW ALL MOTIONS FILED BY MEN REGARDING PATERNITY TO BE HEARD IN A TIMELY MATTER BY MAKING IT A LAW THAT COURTS MUST OFFER IMMEDIATE RELIEF TO MEN SEEKING TO DISESTABLISH PATERNITY IN THE CASE OF PATERNITY FRAUD BY ORDERING DNA PATERNITY TESTING OF THE CHILD/CHILDREN WITHIN 90 DAYS OF THE REQUEST FOR DNA PATERNITY TESTING MOTION BEING FILED.

DO AWAY WITH THE ANCIENT LAW OF "PRESUMPTION OF PATERNITY IN THE CASE OF MARRIAGE" AND ENACT A NEW LAW WHICH PROVIDES RELIEF TO HUSBANDS WHO ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO ABIDE BY THOSE SAME ANCIENT LAWS FOR WIFES WHO WERE UNFAITHFUL. REMOVE THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS ON REQUESTING DNA TESTING AND ALLOW ANY MAN WHO REQUESTS DNA PATERNITY TESTING THROUGH THE COURTS TO SEEK RELIEF WHETHER HE MARRIED THE BIOLOGICAL MOTHER OR NOT.

REQUIRE CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT TO ASSIST WITH ASSUMED FATHERS SEEKING DNA PATERNITY TESTING BEFORE TAKING ACTIONS AGAINST THESE MEN TO COLLECT SUPPORT.

MAKE IT A LAW FOR WOMEN WHO HAVE COMMITTED PATERNITY FRAUD TO REPAY THE VICTIMIZED MALE IN FULL ANY SUPPORT PAID IN ADDITION TO THE INTEREST RATE AT WHICH INTEREST ON CHILD SUPPORT ARREARS IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA IS SET.

MAKE IT A LAW THAT WOMEN WHO SUBJECT THEIR CHILDREN TO ABUSE DUE TO PATERNITY FRAUD BE REQUIRED TO PAY FOR, OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKET WITH NO STATE OR GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE, COUNSELING FOR THE CHILD/CHILDREN UNTIL THE CHILD/CHILDREN REACH THE AGE OF MATURITY, COUNSELING IS TO ASSIST CHILDREN WITH THE DETRIMENTAL EFFECTS OF PATERNITY FRAUD.
