Dear friends We have posted two big victories in the past week. On 7th July we got Digital Safety (Point 1 in our memorandum) and a week earlier the scope of the Banking Ombudsman was considerably expanded to give us better grievance redress. Unfortunately, it is still just band-aid. We need significant changes to make banking safer and trustworthy; to eliminate rampant mis-selling of insurance, mutual funds and wealth management products and reverse many needless charges imposed on us.
