Dear Friends It is time to take this petition to the next level. We have not got a response from the RBI Governor despite our best efforts. Not even Deputy Governor S S Mundra, who i messaged. I then connected Union Minister Piyush Goyal. He was quick to respond, sought an email copy of our petition. He assures me that he will take up our issues, as bank customers, with Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Mr Kirit Somaiya, who used to run Investor Grievance Forum also responded to my message. He was unaware of what was happening to bank borrowers. Interestingly, neither MP seemed aware about how banks are fleecing customers. We are hopeful that our update of facts will generate some action. I am also happy to report that Mr Milind Deora (former Minister) and Mr Sanjay Nirupam have expressed solidarity and tell me that they have signed the petition too. But let us strengthen our own case, by spreading the word and getting more people, who are angry at bank charges, mis-selling and high-handedness to sign the petition and join the effort. Let us push for change now!
