Dear Governor Evers,
We, the citizens of the state of Wisconsin, USA are so thankful
to have the leadership, we so deserve, as with your
administration. Just the fact you and your wife, Kathy, Have
dedicated your lives to the children and their education is
alone a Great achievement. The expertise of this education will
greatly promote our children’s learning abilities far into the
future.
Being a full-blooded American citizen of our fine state of
Wisconsin, and our 46th Governor, I think you could perceive a
situation before it actually happens.
Also growing up in an atmosphere of constant service to the
sick. Your father being a MD and your mother a nurse. You can
imagine the pain and suffering of those who do not medical

assistance. From 1848 to now the State of Wisconsin still does
not have even 1 Children’s Medical Center in a rural area. Let us
not go through another year, without adequate medical care
for rural children.
Wisconsin has three (3) nationally ranked Children’s Hospitals,
Neenah, Madison and Milwaukee. They are all within fifty (50)
miles of each other and in the Eastern part of the state. It may
be just possible to have extension facilities from one or more of
the major hospitals to Green Bay, Eau Claire, or LaCrosse.
Within a radius of 75 miles from Eau Claire all of Northwest
Wisconsin can be served. As Green Bay is 150 miles from Eau
Claire and has a Children’s Medical Facility.
Working together it may be possible to have an arrangement
with Children’s Minnesota to care for children living in both
Northwest and Northeast Wisconsin.
I currently have a letter of Invitation out to Mayo Clinic in
Minnesota. Other letters of Invitation have also been mailed
out to the heads of staff of other Hospitals.

Are we to still go through another year with no support for our
sick children living in rural areas?
My home town is the little Village of Wausaukee, pop.576

This very small town could be the first site our Children's
Medical Centers. Wausaukee is centrally located and easily
accessible from the rural communities of the State Michigan
and Wisconsin
