Hi Everyone,
This is a brief update. As far as a pardon from Governor Northam there isn’t anything new to report, but we will not give up. Drew deserves his reputation and rights fully restored. The pardon petition has neither been granted nor denied.
Chiara Eisner, a journalist who focuses on injustice, wrote an article that published in The Marshall Project last Monday. I wanted to share it with you all and ask you to please continue to bring awareness to this petition by sharing with your family and friends. Her article does not address guilt or innocence, but shines a light on the issues regarding a lack of assessment or consideration and the inhumanity of unnecessary incarceration.
