Thank You, and Please Keep Sharing!!

We are grateful for your support by signing, and/or leaving comments under Reasons for Signing on this petition. The prison called yesterday to let me know that they have been on a "lockdown" since early this week. Now we know why we haven't been able to talk to Drew since Monday. This is an example of the type of situation that comes up within prison barbed wire fences. We have little to no control. It's a horrible feeling. I can't imagine how it must feel for Drew. When we visited Drew on September 27th we asked him how we can be most helpful to him. We asked, "What do you most need right now?" He said he is losing hope, and needs to feel hope. When we are able to talk with him, or visit him next we will tell him about your signatures and supportive comments. You have given him (and us) hope! He just wants his freedom back. He wants to come home with his family, and included in family he's talking about his dog, Libbie. He misses her so much. He misses the simple pleasures of everyday life, the little things many of us often take for granted. Thank you for continuing to share this petition with your friends. As signatures come in from people we know; and people we have never met, we are deeply touched and grateful. We feel hope, and will pass that hope onto Drew. Next week your signatures and comments will be delivered by Drew's attorney, within the petition asking the governor to pardon Drew. You will know that you did what you could to hopefully help a worthy young man regain his freedom. Our Warmest Thanks, Jude and John Harrison (and Libbie!)
