Thank you for supporting the first-in-the-nation anti-speeding vehicle safety tech bill. There are just five days left for Governor Newsom of California to sign or veto this bill requiring lifesaving technology in new cars and trucks that alerts drivers when they go 10+MPH over the speed limit. Governor Newsom must stand with family members like me and all of us who’ve lost family members in crashes – not the auto industry.

SB 961 is a simple measure that will prevent speeding – which kills over 10,000 people in the US every year –  at the source. If signed into law, it will spur other states and the federal government to act.
