GOOD NEWS!

We sent the petition to Governor Lamont and Commissioner Cardona last evening. At the time there were over 1000 signatures from CT residents. Today at 4pm Governor Lamont held a press conference. From the Hartford Courant, "Gov. Ned Lamont and Commissioner Miguel Cardona said Monday districts will now have the option to reopen in a hybrid model, mixing online and in-school classes, rather than bringing all children back to school this fall." We do not have details yet if this includes middle and elementary schools. We don't know how much impact our petition had, but we do know this is a great step in the right direction. We encourage you to continue to continue to ask CT residents to sign our petition and we encourage you to advocate for your children to your local Board of Education. Thank you!
