We have surpassed 2,000 signatures! Thank you all for signing and supporting our endeavors in getting AJ Stacey’s voice heard and obtaining justice for him. Your support is crucial in the road to achieving justice for this sweet baby; no amount of words can express my gratitude. However, the road to justice is extraordinarily long, so please continue to share so we can gain more support!

Not only have I emailed the attorney general and governor, but I have also sent messages to the attorney general regarding the petition through Facebook messenger to see if she would read my messages and/or respond. She read each of my messages, but failed to respond. She left me on “read”. I also still have yet to hear back from the governor. 

I contacted several news organizations in the hopes that they would share both AJ Stacey’s story and petition, but again, I have yet to hear from anybody. 

Deja Armstrong’s mother has created a fake Facebook account in which she attacks AJ Stacey’s paternal grandmother, claiming that AJ Stacey simply aspirated and was declared “brain dead” at the hospital, so she and Deja wished to take him of life-support to spare him. She also claims that Deja had nothing to do with the abuse that landed him in the hospital, again saying that it was “aspiration”. Deja Armstrong’s mother’s account has been discredited and disputed by official hospital records and court records; it was determined that his injuries were the result of abuse, and it was also determined that he was not “brain dead”. 

Additionally, AJ Stacey was born extremely premature at 28 weeks gestation. Per the medical records, Deja Armstrong tested positive for marijuana at the time of his birth. 

Deja Armstrong needs to be held accountable for her actions, so please continue to sign and share.
