While I was talking myself into some optimism regarding Governor Hochul's likely response to the SUNY Report on Long-Term Enrollment and Financial Sustainability on the Citizen of Somewhere Else blog yesterday (and ignoring Governor Hochul's pools announcement bc what could that possibly have to do with public higher ed, right?), the Governor was throwing cold water on the hopes of everyone who signed this petition:

In response, I've tried to start a very public discussion of what funding and pricing SUNY and CUNY means when we think of public higher education as a public good.

Whatever else you want to do to get the Governor thinking about this question or any other questions you think she's taking for granted, go for it! This is not a time for message discipline but mosquito swarm/Lilliputian tactics, IMHO.
