Stand up for horses on June 8th: The Belmont Stakes

Join Horseracing Wrongs and animal advocates like you at Belmont Park in New York to expose the inherent cruelty of the U.S. horseracing industry.

Protesters will unveil tombstones with the names of the 33 horses (thus far) killed at Belmont Park since last year’s Belmont Stakes; in addition, large posters and banners will be on display, and educational flyers distributed.

The Belmont Stakes is the last leg of The Triple Crown. In past years, up to 90,000 people were in attendance. There will be major media outlets present. This race is televised on NBC Sports.

When: Saturday, June 8, 2019

Where: Belmont Park’s Gate 5 Entrance
2150 Hempstead Tpke, Elmont, NY 11003

Time: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

2,000 racehorses die on American tracks each year.  Please be their voice to stop the cruelty and the killing of these innocent horses.

This weekend, another horse died at Belmont Park.
