Medicaid for Lupus in South Carolina

The problem I would like to see get solved in South Carolina are the requirements to be eligible for Medicaid after being diagnosed by a certified Rheumatologist with a disease such as Lupus, while waiting to be deemed disable by the Disability Board or by an Administrative Judge. In between getting diagnosed and being deemed disable this disease is progressing more while waiting on an answer from the Disability Board or by an Administrative Judge. This change will impact me by being able to get the proper health care treatment for this non-curable deadly disease. The impact it will have on my family is knowing that I am receiving the proper health care for this deadly disease. This will also impact my community and the state of South Carolina by allowing other lupus suffers and myself to be able to receive Medicaid while waiting on the Disability Board or by an Administrative Judge.
