I've chosen August 26th for its deep significance to our organization and the horses. Horseracing Wrongs originated in Upstate New York, with Saratoga Race Course as our Ground Zero. On this day, Travers Day, we're staging a powerful protest and using a mobile billboard circling the track to amplify our message. It's a testament to our work to give the horses a voice.

Since our start in 2014, Horseracing Wrongs has documented nearly 10,000 horse deaths. These intelligent, beautiful beings suffer and die for the sake of gambling and entertainment. As a small yet fierce organization, we're dedicated to recording the abuse and death daily and working with media and lawmakers across the country to advocate for change.
