More Sick and Injured Horses at Del Mar

The following horses were “scratched” from races at Del Mar in the four-day period Nov 24-Nov 27. Keep in mind that their “connections” – their exploiters – had every intention of racing them, but were thwarted by the track vet.

Southern King – injured
Righteously – unsound
Equilove – injured
Flat Out Joy – injured
Roll On Big Joe – sick
Aqua Seaform Shame – unsound
Ted – sick
Hockey Dad – unsound
Mac Daddy Too – sick
Annaghlasa – injured
Exactly Wendy – unspecified

For the entire week (Nov 21-27), 14 horses were placed on the “Vet List.”

This, too, is horseracing.
