I am calling on the city of Indianapolis to ban the cruel, inhumane and unsafe horse drawn carriage industry. These horses should be retired to sanctuaries where they are free to roam open pastures, and live in their natural habitat. Horses do not belong in congested, urban settings where they constantly breathe exhaust while dodging dangerous traffic. No animal should be subject to this and it is time to end the extortion of these horses.
