DESIGN:The triangle design is a depiction of Mauna Kea.  "No Jurisdiction" is in opposition to the State's efforts to establish itself as the owner and sole controller of sacred Mauna Kea.  "Wao Akua" is in reference to the Mauna Kea summits and means the realm of the Gods.  In Hawaiian tradition "Wao Akua" was the highest or most sacred areas that was uninhabited except by the Gods.  Mauna Kea is the home of Wakea, the Hawaiian Sky God.
