51 years for juvenile lifers is way too long,  It has already been ruled unconstitutional by the United States Supreme Court in Miller & Montgomery case! Bill Haslam  also seen fit to & agree in the change in the Cyntoia Brown case who had a life sentence & after serving 15 yrs was granted an Executive Clemency.

There are juveniles currently serving life sentences who have NOT actually committed a murder but was held criminally responsible for the act of another!

We are fighting to get the sentencing scheme in Tennessee changed back from 51 years to 25 years.
