His demeanor and attitude was playful and he was joking around when he came in as this key witnessed stated
Simply being in possession of a firearm...which was his constitutional right..should not have been enough to put him away for life because they assumed premeditated.
Note: at time of crime he was not a felon and this was his first adult offense

High crime area of south memphis...preservation of his life and his property were reason enough for him to have the gun. He didn't deserve a life sentence for this. He has served more than enough time and is very remorseful.
