According to Amy Fecher with Governor Hutchinson's office, "Rep. Davis announced in the House State Agencies committee meeting on Wednesday that both Cosmetology and Massage Therapy will remain in the Department of Health.  While the plan was originated with the Governor’s Office, it is the legislators that file the bills and have the ultimate say over what goes where.  The Governor does not make that decision independently, and it takes a consensus to do so and is not always an simple answer or fix."  She went on to give some insight to what we can expect from legislation over the next few weeks.  I will post updates via Facebook on that.   Congratulations, our voices were heard!
