The comments are heartbreaking

We just saw this idea on Facebook and since this is election time: I want to vote for someone that will LEAD and NOW, not just for the purpose of being elected. How about it Bill King and Sylvester Turner, when will you address this travesty that is RIGHT NOW and a time bomb for 2300 of our most vulnerable people you want to represent? Many of us have asked repeatedly for you to do something? Your silence is deafening and IF you are working behind the scenes to address this, come on out publicly so we know! To those running your campaigns, maybe they can ask you to STAND up and get this fixed! ANYTHING? ‪#‎LocalCancerPatientsMatter‬ and THIS is unethical and wrong. Maybe it is time to ask the new Mayor to lead now. Let's do it on behalf of this person that took time to comment: A little girl, close to my heart and soul, has been and is currently being treated by the amazing MD Anderson... and she falls under this exclusion. We are sorry to keep asking for your help, but it seems people are just now aware of the discriminatory practices used in the 2016 plans. It is wrong to exclude the individually insured from any PPO and this petition is the first step to correction. Please continue your efforts.
