Icaro pulls alongside the Nabarima

The latest news from the FFOS report that the Icaro has been spotted alongside the Nabarima from images obtained through SkyTruth and other global media sources.

It is unknown whether the oil stored onboard the Nabarima is being transferred or if preparations are still underway. Nevertheless, this crisis is still far from averted.

We are still awaiting news from the inspection team sent by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago to assess the vessels condition on Tuesday (20th Oct). The Minister of  Foreign Affairs Dr Amery Browne says that this report will form the basis of the Government's next actions.

Corporate secretary of the FFOS Gary Aboud is still calling on Regional Leaders to publicly address the issue and work together to prevent future incidents like this.
