Dear Friends and Supporters

🎉❤️ I'm absolutely delighted to bring you the wonderful news that our dear friend, Carol Ng, was freed earlier today, Monday 28th July 2025, from Lo Wu Correctional Institution!! 

Following her participation in the 2020 pro-democracy primaries, Carol was arrested on the 6th January 2021 and charged with conspiracy to commit subversion under the National Security Law.  After making the very difficult decision to plead guilty, on the 19th November 2024 Carol received a four and a half year sentence.  Taking into account time served, Carol's projected release date was the 29th July 2025.

Carol's courage, strength and bravery has been nothing short of inspirational and I know you'll join me in sending our love and best wishes to her and her family as we finally welcome her home.

I'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you for keeping Carol's campaign alive and we will continue to support those Activists still detained.
