Dear Friends and Supporters

27th November 2023 marked 1000 days since our friend and former British Airways Cabin Crew colleague Carol Ng was incarcerated in Hong Kong.  Carol has been charged with conspiracy to commit subversion following the 2020 primary elections and is pleading guilty along with 31 other Activists.  Their trial is due to commence shortly and is expected to last approximately 3 months.

Last Sunday 26th November 2023, a protest took place at the Chinese Embassy in London demanding the release of the Hong Kong 47.  BASSA attended alongside several Activist individuals, groups and trade unions and we received many messages of support including from MP's John McDonnell and Nadia Whittome.
