Dr. Martin Luther King Junior once said, “Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in healthcare is the most shocking and inhumane.” Similarly, the healthcare system in Pakistan is in crisis precisely because we have an immense shortage of health professionals. Every day in our Sindh Province, we witness deaths of children, woman and elderly people because we have no doctors appointed in rural hospitals. Still Sindh Government has completely neglected healthcare. Even after tall talks and loud announcements of issuing doctors' offer letters within a week, nothing has happened for last three years. So, the Government of Sindh, keeping in view deplorable healthcare system should appoint doctors as quick as possible.
