Wow everyone!
Almost 750 signatures. The Atlantic premiers are having a conference call next week to discuss the Atlantic Bubble. Please continue to sign and share your stories of what the reality of a closed border means to us. And please share the petition! More signatures means they will have to listen to us.

Here's my story. I live 500m from the border. I live in NB but work in Cumberland County. My boyfriend and family, other than children, are in NS. We haven't seen him in 9 weeks and other family has been longer. For my son's birthday we had to have pizza and cake over Zoom, just so we could be together. Throughout the pandemic my boyfriend and I have spent hours on the phone with both NS and NB to figure out what we're allowed to do, only to get conflicting answers and then be told peace officers have the final say anyway. We have not seen our NS friends or been able to participate in NS activities. My grocery bill has gone up 30% because I am no longer allowed to get groceries in Amherst (even though I drive by on the way home from work). I cannot go to my bank or other stores in Amherst that we always depended on. I get COVID swabs weekly because I work across the border - all have been negative.
These are not inconveniences.
