Politicians and some organized group of corrupted High level officials (so called "Medical maafias") are robbing the Medical Education openly and often ‘proudly’ in Nepal.

It is not that no one in our country cares about holding these corrupted leaders accountable.
Time and again, there have been efforts to report and highlight this corruption, but although law-makers agree about corruption, they dare not publicly take action against the responsible corrupted officials.

Once again Govinda KC ( Nepalese orthopedic surgeon and philanthropic activist) has stood against this corruption . This is the sixth time senior surgeon is staging hunger strike with demands for reform in medical education policy.

Dr Govinda KC has lunched an indefinite hunger strike demanding the formulation and implementation of policies to reform the country's medical sector. Since this is the issue related with public health concerns of all the citizens the government should make some concrete announcement before it seriously ruins Dr KC's health.
