Padma Shri was given to Baarkha Dutt by previous government for doing the dirty work of Congress and previous government. The evidence of that is Radia Tapes where she was found doing deals on behalf of corrupt politicians and businessmen. National awards like this should be given to clean people and who have contributed to the society in a big way and help downtrodden. Taking back award will send right message that corruption will  not be tolerated at high places specifically in Media. Because media has lot of power and if top people in media start doing deals on behalf of corrupt politicians and businessmen, its very dangerous for the country. and common people
