A lot of vehicles in India (specifically commercial vehicles) change their horns to high pressure horns with very loud sound. With these drivers constantly honking there is a lot of noise pollution and also it increases anxiety in other drivers leading to unnecessary accidents. The horn is not taken as something to warn others, but in India it is being used more as an irritant to get immediate pass.

My recommendation to Govt. of India is to bring in law to, one not allow changing of horns on a vehicle other than that are company fitted. The companies should be regulated to put horn of specific loudness on a vehicle. Secondly, there should be a penalty for excessive honking and changing the horn.
