Tampons and feminine hygiene products are just about as needed as gasoline. 

Sure, it's convenient to have tampons/gasoline, but it still is possible to survive without them!

The entire basis for the removal of this taxation is false and unjust.

If we are to be removing federal taxes from tampons, then we should be removing federal taxes from gasoline! Heck! while were at it, how about we remove federal taxes from EVERYTHING! Because EVERYTHING IS OH SO NEEDED!

Furthermore, this tax removal got enabled via a MINORITY OF PEOPLE! This was not even a majority decision. Only 75,000 people signed the petition for the removal of this tax. Because of these 75, 000 people, 35 160 000 000 other people have to suffer and pay so that these 75, 000 people can feel happy... for 30 seconds.

Let's break this down a bit for those of you who don't quite understand how bad this is. 

When you remove taxation from a very specific category of products, massive amounts of useless bureaucratic expenses start popping out of no where!

1. The missing amount of money must now be taken away from somewhere else; perhaps the education system? Let's take away our children's text books so that we can save 1 cent on our tampons!

2. Companies, small business owners, manufacturers, all of these organizations will be required to update their software, accounting, and who else knows what!

3. Enforcement! Obviously not every small business owner is going to be so on the ball with keeping up with these new changes; so as a result, we now need a department of people working ensuring that these tax removals are enforced! $$$; This department will probably spend more tax-payers money than the amount of missing "tampon taxes"

4. This will lead to the further removal of other feminine products under the same guise. Next it could be the removal of GST from lipstick.
