There are many issues involving the exploitation of companion animals in the news today.  Puppymills, Hoarders, Dog Fighting, among others.  I call on Premier Rachel Notley and the Government of Alberta to follow the lead of Quebec, Toronto, Kingston, and 150 cities across North America and rewrite our Animal Protect Act to combat these issues.  Let Alberta become Canadas leader on animal rights issues.
