In mid-August we were told that we could meet again if we follow strict regulations and social distancing so Choirs all over England (this may vary across the UK) worked so hard on Risk Assessments and everything else to bring our groups together safely. Many have done it successfully and others have plans in place for the coming weeks.
THEN ...... yesterday following the #ruleofsix the government decides to start to update guidance for all and throws doubt on all these plans and we are left again non the wiser, and now with the threat that we could be breaking the law ..... see the pictures for the latest.
I will be contacting Boris Johnson and Oliver Dowden again today to ask for URGENT clarification.
Why can sport continue? Why can you go to the pub and go on a plane? This is beyond ridiculous now - and we need answers. It has been 6 months ..........
