Around 7% of children have food allergies in the UK, our Campaign Always Allergy Aware is to ensure schools around the UK are fully aware of allergies and the precautions that need to be made in the likely event of a pupil having a severe allergic reaction. The aim is for the Government to provide high-quality training to staff and to ensure they are sufficiently trained to operate an auto-injector device in which there should be enough devices in schools to use.
