Protecting and realizing children's rights

 

Human rights apply to all age groups; children have the same general human rights as adults. But children are particularly vulnerable and so they also have particular rights that recognize their special need for protection.

 

Children’s rights in the human rights framework

 

The Convention on the Rights of the Child sets out the rights that must be realized for children to develop their full potential, free from hunger and want, neglect and abuse. It reflects a new vision of the child. Children are neither the property of their parents nor are they helpless objects of charity. They are human beings and are the subject of their own rights. The Convention offers a vision of the child as an individual and as a member of a family and community, with rights and responsibilities appropriate to his or her age and stage of development. By recognizing children's rights in this way, the Convention firmly sets the focus on the whole child.

 

In 2014 we are still receiving reports that approximately 2,000 children go missing around the world every single day, and the success rate of finding them is still very low. UN and local national government statistics are still very unreliable as many criteria must be met to consider a child missing and include him in the statistics. This is all absolutely appauling and AXJ has decided to make this one of its priorities.

 

We are all very aware of human trafficking but we can not really grasp the horror of this tragedy in human lives until it happens and it affects us first hand. Women and children are still bought and sold as commodities on the international markets and it is very difficult for Law Enforcement to coordinate activities and be able to break up these mafias. AXJ proposes the elimination of the marketplace and therefore the elimination of any future trafficking.

 

Included in the need, creation, and survival of this criminal marketplace, we find related activities including scams, fraud and the general unlawful use of the internet, to serve as a media for the communication and activities of these criminal elements on the internet.

One system for all country which is connected to world system. In this way the information about missing person is very fast.
