help us reach £5,000 thank you we really appreciate Your support
Your expression of wishes are not legally binding your signing your expression of wishes over to the trustees who can pay funds to who they wish they are not obliged to share any information with the loved ones you have named Discretionary allows them to do this

this doesn’t form part of your estate
Our Mp has advised me to carry on collect signatures and will pick up on this further once the virus has settled

I’ve been googling to find out more information to carry on my fight. writing a policy in trust means you have named a loved one ) this means funds will be paid out quicker as the funds do not go through probate through googling it states that a lump sum will be paid out to person or persons you have named
Life insurance usually avoids probate there are some exceptions if no beneficiaries are named or alive then the life insurance will go to probate life insurance is concluded in your tax but most don’t need to worry
Your wishes are not legally binding the trustees are not obliged to pay funds out to the loved ones you have named please support our petition and help us make a change Discretionary allows them to do this

Inheritance tax allowance before 2020 was for a single person £425,000 for a couple £850,000
2020 single person is £500,000 for couples £1 million
