"My husband and I live in a medium city. We had a doctor who retired and left us as orphans for about 2 years. We got another doctor who lost his licence. We have had no doctor now for over two years. We have had to sit in a waiting room at the emergency department of our local hospital or at the only walk in clinic I am aware of in our town for anywhere from 5 to 11 hours JUST to refill our prescriptions. I consider Cover Health to be a lifesaver. Having a doctor phone us after we registered within an hour is amazing. Having him email our requisitions for blood work is amazing. The fact that the last doctor who we saw at emergency said she couldn't do that for us and we would have to go to another walk in clinic to wait, get the requisition, go to the lab, go back to the walk in (and hope to see a doctor that day) just amazed me. Why would anyone not want these clinics to survive? Unless it takes money or power over people out of the hands of local doctors."

"I'm signing because, as an overall healthy person with minor issues, I don't want to be part of problem by crowing clinics and taking time away from people that need it most."

"It is so much more convenient than travelling to the doctors office just for a prescription for example. It’s safer than sitting in your doctors waiting room or walk- in with potentially contagious people."

"I'm signing because although I have a family doctor it takes up to 2 weeks to get an appointment. For urgent/emergent help I'm told to go to an urgent care ctr/hospital. For routine checkups it can be a month. I've almost given up bothering even though I have issues that should be checked"
