The Hawaiʻi Historic Places Review Board approved the nomination of Mauna Kea as a Traditional Cultural Property and District, significant under all qualifying criteria, to the Hawaiʻi Register of Historic Places. Additionally, the Board recommended the nomination move forward to be considered for National Register of Historic Places listing under all qualifying criteria!

It is in your words and efforts that contain our collective story of connection to the mauna. The board said they received 50 more testimonies in the last 24 hours alone!
