Since Shanti Sahyog Centre for Peace & Conflict Resolution (SS CPCR)  International Initiative/Satyagraha #ChooseNonviolentDefence  attempts to harness the power of citizens, democracy and the internet in working for a World Beyond War, we took contact with Greta Zarro, Organizing Director of World BEYOND War (WBW) which is a US based global nonviolent movement to end war. Founded on January 1, 2014, WBW - like SS CPCR is driven by a people-powered movement, striving to replace a culture of war with one of peace, in which nonviolent means of conflict resolution take the place of bloodshed. WBW is a global network of volunteers, activists, and allied organizations,  advocating for the abolition of the very institution of war. SS CPCR current initiative is also aimed at the latter. SS CPCR   is now an affiliate of WBW, our President – Dr Suman Khanna Aggarwal – is now a member of their  Organization’s Speakers Bureau,  and we will be collaborating with them on several events to achieve our common goal.
