Colton Trimble started this petition to Google Inc.

YouTube is censoring creators who have done no wrong on there platform. They have censored many creators for not being “family friendly”, and they are also taking down historical videos about Nazi Germany because it contains “hate speech”, even though these videos are intended to be informal. YouTube is censoring content that is “inappropriate for children”, even though there platform is meant to be a place to speak your mind freely and express your thoughts truthfully no matter what anyone thinks, they are trying to take away that right by being “family friendly”, and that is wrong, since YouTube was originally created in 2005 to be a place to freely express yourself. Google then bought YouTube in 2006, and is now taking that right away from all of the content creators by demonetizing and age restricting users on the site who upload content that isn’t “family friendly”. This website was meant to be a place to express yourself freely, not to be family friendly. Google has changed this site too much for the worse, and we need to stop this website from censoring content creators, and let YouTubers express themselves freely. That was the original intention of the platform, and only you can help bring that intention back. Will you help us fight for freedom of expression on YouTube, I imagine you would, so sign this petition today!
