Hey, everyone! I've been pretty busy lately, but since I'm on spring break right now, I thought I'd give y'all a quick little update. Not only has this petition reached a milestone of 750 supporters, but also the Numb music video has passed 800 million views now!!! Plus, bingeclock.com/view/url/1348/overview now predicts the video will reach a billion views in 2020 instead of 2021! Thank you all so much for helping to increase its view count!! We are making an impact with every additional view! Unfortunately, I still haven't heard back from Google, and it's been over a month. This is why I sent them a follow-up email today (as you can see in the image above). However, this may not be enough to convince them to promote the "Numb" video on their homepages on July 20. If any of you are willing to help, please send an email to proposals@google.com as well, asking them to promote "Numb" on the Google and YouTube homepages on July 20. Google will be more likely to grant our request if they see multiple people asking for it. Below is an example email you can use to send to Google. Their music has changed countless lives and still continues to inspire others as more people hear about it.
