This morning, Julie and I had a conference call with a Project Manager at Google Maps. (!!!!!!)

This was only a preliminary call, but things are looking very positive with more announcements coming soon. Are you seeing a trend? (!!!!!!) This is a testament to the power of networking—the power that each of you brings to this vision.

This connection happened from a grassroots effort from Facebook friends. A friend posted a link to our Petition, who connected with someone who believes in the mission, and so on. That led us to someone connecting us with Jeanne Alford, the Executive Director for the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association (http://www.suddencardiacarrest.org). Jeanne reached out to a connection at Google, who spoke with a co-worker, who connected to a manager, who connected to our Project Manager. Julie, Jeanne and I will be working with our Google Maps contact to start laying the groundwork. 

Phase 2 will be coming and we’ll need an army to help make things happen. We will let you know. :) 

Each and everyone one of you took the time to help spread the word. Julie and I can’t thank you enough. 

I’ll keep you updated as we push forward to seeing a mission come true!
