So tonight A Current Affair on the Nine Network ran this story https://www.9now.com.au/a-current-affair/2018/extras/latest/180411/cop-cam-on-patrol about the police using technology to fine us when using our mobile phones. For years now the argument for speed camera's was that this would curb speeding and reduce accidents. The evidence has proven this is simply not the case - its just revenue collection by our governments pure and simple! However, the police understand first hand how dangerous our use of mobile phones are while behind the wheel, and its these wonderful people that have to attend the accidents of victims and tell families of their loss - all over mobile phone addiction. This will not solve the problem. Only by dealing with it at the source can we expect to see a change. Hence this petition outlining to Google and Apple exactly what they need to do - and its simply, easy and quick for them if they really wanted to! Lets help stop unwanted deaths and injuries and demand Apple and Google to take action now! Please share. We are making great progress.
