Unfortunately the council passed the the Tesco development (1300 flats approx) which will open the floodgates to other similar developments. We are asking our local and online community to get behind us and donate what they can for this first stage legal advice. At this stage, we are raising £5,000 to instruct a barrister to review the grounds of challenge around air quality and health etc concerns and, if there are grounds, to draft a statement of facts to send a pre-action protocol letter to the Council setting out our points of challenge with the view that they reconsider their approval.
