Let me start by thanking you all for your support. I am completely blown away by how many people have got involved. This petition has been running just over three days and word seems to be spreading.

I wanted to update you on the latest developments:

• We have been in touch with NOISE ( the local campaign group) who have been amazing in giving us advice especially Andy Walker who has been a campaigner on the non closure of King George’s hospital for some time
• The local councillors (Bob/Sareena) have been contacted and are on board with what we are trying to achieve. I hope to attend my second meeting with them on Saturday.
• The momentum you have all provided has gained the attention of the media. We will post any links as we get them. For any media outlets that haven’t been in touch, we are happy to talk, please contact us through the links below.

Our Next steps:

• Involving the local MP
• Attending the developer consultations in March (see attachment)
• Set up a community meeting with some key speakers
• Going door to door with a paper petition for those that may want to get involved but are unaware or less able to access the internet based mediums
