Thanks To Everyone

Friends,

After pushing hard to get 100 signatures in the first 24 hours, I am now seeing that interest on this project has more widely dried up.

I have tirelessly posted to newsgroups and stories over the last week, and despite 1000’s seeing the petition, only 144 have signed it. Some people have told me that they are “frightened” to put their name to a petition seeking President Trump’s help. Others told me that they have previously had social media accounts cancelled for simply wishing President Trump a Happy Birthday. Regardless of the reasoning, other well-meaning petitions flourish while this one has not.

Thank you to those who spent money to have Change.Org “promote it”, whatever that in fact means, since the response has not been as expected.

I am a Chaplain, unskilled with regards to social media, tech and petitions. If anyone out there sees somewhere that I went wrong, and can lend a hand to boost this petition to a viral state, I would appreciate it. Otherwise I will let it run until the ad-spend has concluded and then close it. I will send the petition to President Trump.

Truly I felt called by God to raise this petition and I certainly don’t understand why more people did not want to get behind it for the sake of the grieving families of those killed in Kabul.

Today is Labor Day in America and I am reaching out to you all in prayer for a safe and restful day. Thank you for being a part of this.
