Hoy 22 de junio de 2017, el preso político Jorge Cervantes lleva 30 días en huelga de hambre para exigir su liberación. Él ha sido encarcelado por denunciar:

• La corrupción de dirigentes del Partido Comunista de Cuba y de la Seguridad del Estado en Las Tunas, Cuba.
• Las malversaciones y la vida de lucro que las autoridades se dan (mencionó a Ariel Santana, Ramón Cruz, Reynaldo Jiménez). 
• Los recursos de tecnología, alimentos, muebles y equipos que tienen en sus casas personales, y de visita.
• Al oficial 'Yoelito' por haber declarado menos dinero en incautamiento de un operativo antidrogas para quedárselo para sí.

CERVANTES DISTRIBUYÓ EN LUGARES CÉNTRICOS DE LA CIUDAD PAPELES CON UN RESUMEN DE LAS ILEGALIDADES COMETIDAS POR  ESTOS DIRIGENTES CUBANOS. 

Cervantes ha estado en prisión y huelga de hambre varias veces, y ha sufrido junto a su familia el acoso de la Seguridad del Estado Cubano en numerosas ocasiones. En este momento él está al borde de la muerte.

As of today, June 22, 2017, the political prisoner Jorge Cervantes has been on hunger strike for 30 days in demand for his release. He has been incarcerated for denouncing the following:

• The corruption of leaders within the Communist Party and of State Security officials in Las Tunas, Cuba.
• Acts of embezzlement and the life of luxury that the Cuban authorities enjoy (specifically mentioning Ariel Santana, Ramón Cruz, Reynaldo Jiménez). 
• The resources such technology, food, furniture, and equipment that they enjoy in their personal homes and that of their visitors.
• The government official 'Yoelito' for having declared less money in the seizure of an anti-drug operation to keep it for himself.

CERVANTES DISTRIBUTED IN CENTRAL PLACES OF THE CITY PAPERS SUMMARIZING THE ILLEGALITIES COMMITTED BY THESE CUBAN LEADERS.

Cervantes has been imprisoned and on hunger strike several times, and he and his family have suffered the harassment of Cuban State Security on numerous occasions. At this moment he is nearing death.
