Hello all and as always, thanks to everyone who signed the petition and submitted stores to our database. Please keep doing so.

We've added an option to write in an email address, should you feel comfortable with us reaching our for follow-up questions. Sometimes, the info in the submission form isn't enough for us to make a conclusive decision.

After a month of unsuccessfully trying to communicate with the following stores, in some cases, we tried both the general email and the owner and followed up multiple times, we have concluded that not engaging is a choice rather than a coincidence.

Thus, with a heavy heart, we're permanently moving these to the "problematic spaces" section, and ceasing communication attempts. If they reach out at any point, we're always happy to re-launch a conversation:

In addition, and following new submissions and a vetting process, we have reached out to Brick Lane Bookshop in London, as well as to book Culture in NYC. 

Both stores have been added to the petition and we will keep you posted about any developments.
